NL | Met deze publicatie draag het Mationaal Museum voor Wereldculturen bij aan de dialoog over het woordgebruik in de museumwereld en sluit aan bij het maatschappelijke debat over de vraag of bepaalde woorden nog wel van deze tijd zijn. De publicatie belicht dat de beschrijving van een object soms net zoveel betekenis heeft als het object zelf. Dit kan helpen om beter te begrijpen waarom een woord dat voor de een geen lading heeft, bij een ander juist gevoelig ligt. WORDS MATTER biedt inzicht en alternatieven.

The publication explains that the description of an object has just as much meaning as the object itself.
